Our Loss Will be Tremendous is one of the earliest and perhaps most visceral reactions by Jessica Hargreaves in a series of work she's created since the 2016 American presidential elections, exploring the political climate in the United States. Other pieces from this series were recently acquired by the City of New York Museum. Throughout the different works Hargreaves explores current political figures, cultural memes, impressions and imaginings.
